Another thought: An Afrikakorps campaign with more than 2 branches (Recon in Force -> India & Recon in Force -> Tunisia)

I'd definitely play that. The Canucks get overlooked, (or even worse - absorbed by the British), time and again from game to game to game. Seems a shame that so many titles lack the depth to even bother including the third nation to participate in D-Day. What's up with that? Maybe they can't count higher than two?

I've been thinking lately that a campaign based on the history of the 1st SS Panzer Division would be pretty interesting to play.
Their evolution from a reinforced infantry regiment in Poland to a motorized infantry regiment in Holland/France then to a Brigade in the Balkans and eventual Panzergrenadier and finally full Panzer Div status in Russia and after would fit in nicely with the natural Panzer Corps progression of a 'smaller unit' type of campaign. They were involved in a lot of the major battles and the campaign path could easily include more than a dozen plus battles from 1939-1945.
I suppose it could be a little 'touchy' subject for some perhaps, (It is the SS I'm talking about, after all, and I am no fan of theirs) but their campaign history is undeniably interesting.
I myself possess no modding talent other than upgrading the icons, so I can't make this myself, but I would definitely play a campaign like this.
Any thoughts from the community?

HA, another vote for division specific DLC's. There is so much potential to keep interesting campaigns for years here.

A new idea - "Fliegerkorps" - command a parachute and Luftwaffe division throughout the war, where certain events can alter its outcome! (includes Norway, Crete, the Minsk and Kiev Pockets, Battle of Britain and more!)

I'd like to see a Canadian Campaign, starting from a what if Invasion of Britain (There were a lot of Canadian troops in Britain in September of 1940) then some coastal Raids (like in GC 42' west) and then Sicily, Italy, D-Day, The Scheldt (this one has so much potential) and Market Garden/ Crossing the Rhine battles.

If not, then I'd want a Free French/Vichy French Campaign starting in Syria or Madagascar then the player could have a choice of Fighting with the Allies, or fighting for the Axis...... :D

Well after thinking, I'd really want to see a Vichy French Campaign! Instead of starting in say Syria, perhaps it starts in 1942, where you fight off an Allied Invasion. After a number of scenarios(or beating the Allies at every corner), you get a HUGE choice of either fighting with the Allies, and betraying the Germans, OR fighting with the Germans, and repel the Allied Invasion (should you get a DV at all beginning scenarios, Torch fails) and head east and fight with the Germans to repel, and destroy Montgomery's 8th Army, and take Egypt. After that it's a repeat of Afrika Korps with fighting in Palestine, up until you reach Iran, where you could Push deep into Russia, or keep fighting the Allies in the Middle East, or assist the Italians in East and South Africa.

Should you lose in North Africa however, let's just assume the Germans don't invade Vichy France, instead you fight off the Allies in Sicily and Italy, and eventually D-Day. The Campaign ends in Vichy France, when the Allies invade there.

Should you join the Allies, you turn into the Free French and fight the rest of the war, with it ending with a huge assault on the Siegfried Line. But of course you can participate in the D-Day landings as a 4th Nation, or Invade southern France. Either way whichever side you pick, your core gets larger and larger, with new equipment coming along the way, depending on which faction you picked (Panzer IVs or Shermans?)

This was just my idea, but I'd love a campaign like this!

The idea is appealing but my track record with paras is not that good, so you would need only two scenarios. If more than 1/3 survive the first I get MV, and then lose all my troops in the second scenario.

From experience, it would make little difference if I was fighting the entire Polish army with a single unit or fielding an entire division against a local militia unit composed entirely of unusually timid children.
