Battle Academy is coming to Steam

Following Panzer Corps, we are delighted to announce that the PC version of Battle Academy to will soon be available on the world’s most popular digital platform. Battle Academy is set to release on Steam on the 16th of April. Initially the base game will be available and the expansions will follow soon after so that the entire Battle Academy collection will be available.

For those of you who already have bought the PC or Mac version Battle Academy in the past, we have included the option to redeem your PC Steam key for free. This means that, if you prefer, you will be able to download and install the game via Steam. Those of you who already own the game and do not wish to use Steam need not be worried, nothing will change for you.

Battle Academy is loved by many fans and boasts an active modding community as well as many expansions and user created content, and was the #1 strategy game in the app store in 46 countries. Now with the Steam release, we hope to give even more people the chance to play this awesome strategy game!

I suppose I should ask, as someone will eventually. Will the notion of free Stream keys for owners of Panzer Corps being used with the Steam release of Panzer Corps be used with the Steam release of Battle Academy for it's account holders ?

Ok - will this mean that we can still play games via the Slith server? I cannot stand Steam ... it takes way too long to launch and I know it would never work on my laptop.

I had Total War: Napoleon and it ran in Steam ... the speed to launch the game was pitiful ... I uninstalled it ... any time I wanted to even play the game SOLO the Steam server interface would come up ...

Steam client is only required for those who have purchased or installed the game via Steam.
