Hi,
I'm running a comp in a week or so and a competitor wants to submit an Ottoman Turk army and use Serbian allies. I can vet the Turks from the beta pack but am unable to do so for the Serbs. I'd like to allow his army but also need to be fair to other entrants who have armies that I can vet from published books or beta lists in my possession
Can anyone give some rough indication of what must and may be in such an ally contingent - a general guide and not a list would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Steve

Re: Serbian allies for Ottoman Turks
The main thing is that they can only have one BG of Serbian knights (4-6 bases). Superior, heavily armoured.stevoid wrote:Hi,

Don't recall whether husars are compulsory, but they are LH, Average, Unprotected, Lancers, Swordsmen

Does thie make the following illegal, misquoted or changed since britcon? I am keen to know abotu serb allies as ottomans are in the beta lists but without serb either as allies or as internal vassal troops and woudl like to try the ottomans with some serbian punch to thier otherwise manouverama army list.

The beta lists allowed 8 Serbian Knights, the final lists only allow 4-6.expendablecinc wrote:

The other troops in the Serbian ally are not compulsary so one option would be a BG of 6 knights with the allied commander permanently attached. It would certainly make a fearsome if rather expensive (163 point) BG.
