Core units suggestions

Post by mictator »

Hello,
i'm very interested in a pacific war game. I've played 1990 Nectaris, then Battle Isle Series, yep Panzer General Series and the best Hexagonal Strategy Series:

Advanced Daisenryaku

I hope very, very that i have the chance to play with the Akagi and other great carriers as core units and not as auxilary.

In the games with thematical ww2, there have my computer wehrmacht more tiger, panther and king tigers than they ever possesed but with pacific theme no great carrier.

Advanced Daisenryaku
Had to google this one, looks like an interesting game series. Japanese version of Panzer General? :)

Naval units are a very important part of the player's core/carry-over forces and this includes a range of carrier types. I am certain you will not be disappointed :)

A few of the Japanese carrier types were shown in the Units List thread a while ago:

thanks for the fast reply.
Good, the Akagi under my control :D

Advanced Daisenryaku is the Godfather of this Genre, they make the game before Panzer General. Iron Storm for Sega Saturn is the only US Variant from the Daisenryaku
with ww2 theme. But this game is lightweight, other Daisenryaku games are better

I play today Advanced Daisenryaku 5 on the PC. This game have over 2000 types of military hardware.
