Re: utilities for BA
I get a NilObjectException on the Team Editor on W7. Does it need to be placed anywhere specific?
It might be good to give some examples of where you have made use of the tools, to allow people to focus them where they can provide the most help.
Very cool though. A real boon for wrangling the data.
Cheers

It's the Team Editor, and it's on startup unfortunately.

Re: utilities for BA
Oh I see that it happens in the Team Units the first time you open the app.
I'll se what is happening the first time.
After the first crash it worked for me, have tried to open a second time?
I see that there are several things that work different in the PC. Team Units doesn't know how to reach the templates, and don't know how open .CSV.

Re: utilities for BA
It does indeed seem to work correctly if you run it a second time. Seems to find squads etc fine for me.

Re: utilities for BA
I'm finishing a new version that will fix (I hope) several issues in the PC version.
I needed to set up a old PC… it takes time.

Re: utilities for BA
I just finished a new very especific utility, probably no usefull for most, but if someone is interested in it, send me a private mail and I'll send you a link.
Terrain Editor (only for MacOS)
As its name suggests it allows to see, edit, save, terrain types.
You can open as many Terrain.txt files as your computer memory allows. You can modify values (you need to know what you are doing here, a wrong value may crash BA). You can also define new terrain types. Saving the modified file creates a new TERRAIN.TXT and keeps a copy of the older file as TERRAIN_OLD.TXT

I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.
