Does v3 support PBEM or TCPIP play between Mac and PC?

Just need an updated answer to this.

And what versions would be compatible towards each other then?

You can at least run PBEM between a PC and MAC. The TCP/IP code has not been updated from the vanilla game so I'm not sure how it works with GS v3.0

BTW I'm a Mac player (or at least I was - have only just come back to the game after a long break), I don't know about v3, but the old version definitely worked with PBEM between different platforms, as my opponents were usually on PC
