Shooting on Flanks

Hi there. If I was shooting missiles at a BG into their flank or rear, would that qualify as a ++ POA?

No that's hand to hand only. The BGS represent several units and the end troops would shield from such fire in practice.

What you may instead get is a -1 on CTs for creating a threatened flank (see glossary for that) if close enough to charge as well

And neither your troops nor the enemy are skirmishers.
