Check player stats?
Is there any way to check my stats? I remember a while back there was a link in this forum but it no longer works and I can no longer find the forum link

Hmmm - you are correct that there is a page out there somewhere! I do know that the system was not getting the attention it needed, and so we have probably hidden it away until we can get it to a more friendly state.

Re: Check player stats?
Would be good if it was up and running again- After completing a multiplayer game I feel like there should be some kinda record, merit or achievment as its starting to feel abit lonely!
I know there are unofficial tournaments going on/planned(although they have all gone quiet now!) but it would be good to see something official with perhaps prizes/coupons or at least a score/league table at the end of it -something to aim for. I know a few newbies who are struggling with winning at multiplayer games and perhaps different levels of tournament or an automatic matching system for multiplayer
Many of us feel that the unofficial tournament are a little 'niche' and us outsiders don't feel very welcome- an official tournament for all would perhaps resolve this?.
Just my opinion as i'm getting a bit bored with the game now as theres nothing to aim for when playing multiplayer (except to win of course)

Re: Check player stats?
It's definitely something we are working on. We have had a player-runnable tourney system at the "nearly done!" stage for years now. It's the edge casing that keeps tripping us up. But it's on the actual work list for BA2 so there is a good chance it will get done!

Hi Bloodguard
I have and are playing in tournaments. I started by just asking if I could join. They, the other players, quickly invited me in and I must say I have met and conversed with some really nice people. I do not think its a niche I think it's a group of like minded people. I have just finished the GJS tournament and we, as the allies, were struggling for members. No one asks your level they are more than pleased to invite you in. Ok you get whipped but you learn and the guys I play against will ALWAYS give advice. There is a new tournament starting soon look for the site Road to Tunis and speak with Nav Gun, a nice man.
If you are interested in tournament play PM me and we will play a few
Cheers my friend speak soon.

Just like Guardsman says there are lots of nice people here. You should definitely speak to Navaronegun about RTT. And if you want to take part in a six battle tournament we still have a few places to fill. Read more here: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=38844&start=2360#p453743

Re: Check player stats?
Thanks all...good to know,
Are there tournaments planned that are based on 'balanced' maps only ie: Erommels balanced desert strategy map comes to mind?
BA has so much potential and think that its wasted if theres no official league tournament\tables in place. Perhaps BA2 will have this feature?

Hi BloodGuard,
If you are interested in RTT'42, please pm me. Note that it isn't so much about balanced sides on balanced maps, but a campaign where the Race to Tunis is played out operationally on a "big Map" and the tactical battles are fought out using the BA engine.

I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

Hi Nav,
Thanks but i'm only really interested in balanced map/unit tournaments/ladders- I have played those types of maps and have seen other players 'ripped' apart because of the inbalance in the map design or unit choice - I know its to reflect the realism of WW2 and the battles that were fought but BA is a game for me only- something to unwind at the end of a busy day and not get stressed over because the allies were greatly outnumbered from the beginning
