Have accepted against Honour, Morge, and MLazar. This is gonna be ugly, lol. I'm already wondering how I'd do if I could play the maps a couple times first, ha ha...

PDaddy, I also picked up one of your sparing matches. We don't have to play that one all the way through if you don't want but I will play normally to start and you let me know in game.

Have fun everyone,

Abbaye
Pdaddy is putting up a great fight in Abbaye. I think that battle is quite even. We are down to 7 turns left.

Thaon
Jcb and I have just played a couple of turns and I dont know anything about his BG except that it seems that he is the one attacking. I guess he has plenty of troops since I got quite a few myself. :)

Pegasus
Coreysr and I have just finished depoloyment. I dont know about the Allied deployment area but I suppose they are coming from one direction on the map (even if they can deploy in two sectors) and not attack me from behind.
This battle must be tough for the Allies. One bridge for vehicles and two crossings for infantry.

Hillman
Cavehobbit (the traitor  ) and I have played a few turns. The Allies advanced very quickly in to defensive positions. Watch out for the deadly naval artillery. I havent seen any enemy tanks yet but lots of infantry.

Bayeux
Guardsman have accepted the battle but we havent started. I'm sure it will be a great battle though.

Benouville
I'm playing this against Wegeberg. One side of the map is very open and one covered in forest. I wonder what troops he has to welcome my heavy panzers.

How are you doing in the other battles?

You don't need to play all games at once. One at a time will do if you have limited time. We have no date when all games must be finished.

Here we go.......you my good friend are what we refer to around our way as A LET DOWN. Running away before you've even been whipped.

Either it's homework , a bad hair day, makeup smudged or now trailing for a sports team (netball by any chance), I hope TEAMWORK is not fundamental to your taking part........... I do believe sir you suffer from a commitment phobia, no wonder you yanks have so many divorces.......

Ahh, the General Wavell/Auchinleck method.

Now the bad hair day comment made me laugh...
I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

Goad the enemy into making rash decisions.

Anywa welcome aboard Random - your matchup against me is setup awaiting you collecting - password is daddy.

Abbaye is proving a damn good battle, Bayuex is touch and go after MLazars early onslaught catching me unawares - didn't expect him to attempt to rush my starting flag. Having my buttocks well and truly slapped on Benouville, I've suffered some rather deep lacerations from those big cats......oohhhh how landmarine would have loved to have taken on this battle.

Your lucky I wasn't there, or else your BG wouldn't be here today. Or perhaps you like to lose another important objective to me!

I am lucky you weren't there as we have been able to actually play through the match without any 'unnecessary' hold ups. It's wonderful being able to take our turns fluidly , it gives a wonderful rhythm to the battle whether it be a loss or a win.

I'm sure each of my opponents so far have enjoyed the matches just as much as I am due to this fluidity of turns. I suppose this lack of 'unnecessary' hold ups is all part and parcel of the glorious gamesmanship within the BA community. Wouldn't you agree Landmarine. :?

Though having said that I do understand the time restraint placed on the young in today's society, I mean here's me, a worker, father of 3, a missus to keep happy, a house to run, bills to pay, continous training and further education and having to commit some of my spare time to playing this bloody BA..........oohhhh how I wish I was young again, such busy lives.

Final turn played at Abbaye.

I have thrown everything including the kitchen sink into defending my flags and am slightly confident the sheer numbers will prevent Honour from reclaiming so fingers crossed this could be 1-0 to the Allies. The battle for a measly 1pt flag has been riveting and could prove to be pivotal in the final outcome. I expect complete devastation coming from Honours Panthers but I don't think he will be able to get in.............

And battle with Landmarine at Thaon is now underway, let's see if I can outsmart the truant.
