Can you have a TC or FC in the front rank giving you the re-roll and an IC in the back giving the unit +2 support ??

Yes - I do it quite regularly. It's a massive investment in points but often proves to be worthwhile.

Yes. You could also fight with the IC and have the TC with the unit but not fighting. Of course, there's no sense to doing it that way round as you lose the IC's influence on other untis and might get him killed...

had that gentlemen done so, we'd be arguing now as to whether you can have four generals all fighting with the same unit. Then he'll claim he did it and so won a game.

There is only one logical explanation for this and that meant my opponent definitely didn't win that game.
