Can you elaborate on how these supply lines are going to work?

Please be very careful, deliberate, and don't stray off historically how the "Banzai Charge" was utilized by the Japanese in WW2. IMO, the Banzai Charge should only be available to the Japanese forces as a last ditch and desperate assault with devastating results to the Japanese forces for an "unsuccessful" attack. Please do not make the Banzai Charge into a deliberate and each turn "repeatable" offensive assault tactic for the Japanese troops. IMO, the Japanese should only be able to "enable" Banzai Charge under special circumstances - e.g. surrounded and supply cut off troops.

I don't think Japanese commanders should share this mindset. For example; "I'll use Banzai Charge on my left flank to overcome some stiff Allied resistance." "Than I'll keep this unit in reserve and use Banzai Charge against any enemy units that advance adjacent to my HQ."

Instead, IMO Japanese commanders should have this mindset: "My troops are cut off and surrounded. I have one change to break through, so it's time for a Banzai Charge." Roll the dice. One chance to succeed or fail.

Hopefully you will keep these cautions in mind as the game is developed!

If you check the unit traits thread you`ll see this trait:
viewtopic.php?f=264&t=47558
highRiskReturn: High randomisation in combat odds (ex: Jap Infantry in "banzai" mode)
It`s clear that the banzai action won`t be something one wishes to do unless other choices exist.

Focus is currently on unit balancing & scenario design. Once the scenarios reach a more polished state we should be able to release screenshots more regularly - with user interface to give a more representative look of the game. The reason it hasn't been shown so far is because the combat system & stats has gone through various iterations and that part of the UI remained unfinished as a result.

Looking at the pictures i can see the feature of keeping destroyed units or at least vehicles, thats amazing!

Will they be interactive and give cover? Anyway the graphic effect is very impressive. :D

Vehicles and towed guns will leave smoking wrecks, infantry dead bodies, ships wrecks will remain sunken in undeed waters,... They are purely cosmethic, to give a nice view of carnage after a hard fought battle :)
