Come on Pip....this is downright discrimination against us IOS users.
As an avid BA fan I am utterly disgusted in the fact only PC users get the opportunity to attain these sneak peeks and added bonuses.
At least give us IOS users some sort of carrot to balance our loss of pre-release sampling.

Well, there is nothing stopping you from buying the EAPprotectivedaddy wrote:Come on Pip....this is downright discrimination against us IOS users.

In seriousness, unfortunately I don't think that EAP programmes are something that would pass Apples "full and complete" guidelines. So not sure what we could really do unfortunately. I don't think we would want to 'sell' just the bonuses, as that devalues participating with feedback during the EAP process.
Sorry!

As this is an EAP how about this for an idea -
If us IOS users where to purchase the EAP on the PC but instead of receiving the finished program on release of completed BA2, we could receive the full version for the IOS device. If this was possible then I would definitely purchase the EAP so that I received the 'collectors items' and also enable sneak peek, but for longevity I would require the IOS device version.
Also does this EAP have to be a release through the App Store................could a IOS version not be made available via direct download.

As I said before, Apple would never allow this. Either release the full game (with it oh so many bugs) at full price or an exclusive 100 person beta test. Really? This is why it's so hard to make games with Apple sometimes

I have quite a number of programs not released through the App Store but released by companies who also have official releases through the App Store.

I am quite certain that you cannot charge for iOS apps outside the appstore. Is this what you are talking about?protectivedaddy wrote:I have quite a number of programs not released through the App Store but released by companies who also have official releases through the App Store.

I have paid for IOS apps outside of App Store. Simply by paypal. For instance my GPS Spoof and Kidlogger software on my kids iPads is paid outside of App Store and updated also.

Yes, they are jail broken and the programs are listed within cydia as the app repository. We would have to jailbreak our devices to install an .ipa file unless through App Store.
If you released the EPA the same would that get you into hot water with apple or would they be fine as it is part of a testing program.

I foung the idea "excellent"! I bought and finished both scenarios. They were difficult but not impossible. Thanks to all developers for new units and ideas, like "smoke screen"...

Definitely hot water, as we would be charging for it. And then there would also not be a way to convert that sale into a full copy on the app store.protectivedaddy wrote:Yes, they are jail broken and the programs are listed within cydia as the app repository. But thanks for the info - always good to know.

Glad you enjoyed it! If you have any more detailed feedback then we look forward to hearing it in the BA2 forumspomakli wrote:I foung the idea "excellent"! I bought and finished both scenarios. I'm with you in spirit, but what my wallet just said to me was cruel and very unkind eh.
I'm going to just have to be one of the ones that has to wait for this, and likely cry and whine to my wallet even then.
I might as well just start saving now, and hope I am ready when the full release occurs.
2014 has not been a very happy year for me so far, this likely will be the only game I buy this year.

Wow, got it just after knowing about it. Was playing BA these days, after some Sealion scenarios the new ones are a piece of cake, but I guess there will be some others in between. BTW, the Sealion Hold It scenario is a nightmare, I only win because the AI is unable to move to the bridge directly without being distracted. Hope you include in BA2 scripts something for AI movement that instructs it to move without engaging.
About BA2, it is more alike BA than I expected but all the additions are welcome. Also turns and loading times are fast, good job.

Glad you are enjoying it! We definitely didn't want to mess with a winning formula, and a lot of the improvements are under the hood for sure, but we have tried to listen to all the feedback we got over the years and polish or add as much as we couldrf900 wrote:Wow, got it just after knowing about it. Pip, at the min I'm also playing Battle of the Bulge on IOS, now I love the movement phase of this game but if the conflict stages where played out on a BA format it would make it exceptional.............any thoughts on adding something like this into BA2.
