Enemy crossing his own minefields

Post by timek28 »

I just noticed this happening. In some scenarios where enemy is scripted to be static (Gazala) I didn't notice this, so I thought this wasn't possible. In fact in Gazala when British units start to abandon their positions I don't think they where able to cross their own minefields?

However now playing Tobruk (LoV mod) I noticed that enemy tanks easily cross their own minefields. While somewhat plausible (enemy supposedly knows where mines are put and they are not covering every part of the hex or whatever), I don't know weather the user can do the same (cross his own minefield screen)?

It's possible to move over own minefields. Looks like own minefields double the Movement cost of the specific terrain hex.

That doesn't happen with WWI barbed wire, and that is exactly the same as a minefield (except graphics). Infs have 3 moves, and it's on flat terrain.
