Will BA2 campaigns still be a series of single scenario strung together?
Or will we see a campaign with persistent units and continuity between missions?
Campaigns?

Re: Campaigns?
We're not planning to change the core campaign approach at the moment, as it fits better with our vision for the game. While some people really like having carryover and persistence, it can make it very tough for newer players if they get partway through a campaign and realise they need to backtrack to make a mission achievable.
That said, all the necessary functionality for carryover campaigns is there, so I have no doubt that modders (and us, for the right setting on the eastern front...) will meet the demand going forward.
Cheers

Re: Campaigns?
Could it be made an option to choose? I like both ways but I tend to think of each unit as 'mine' even if they aren't carrying over. It has taken a little getting use to.pipfromslitherine wrote:We're not planning to change the core campaign approach at the moment, as it fits better with our vision for the game. Not really - missions are not built to be played consecutively, and often don't even involve the same kinds of unitsMartyWard wrote:Could it be made an option to choose?
