Stephen
Assuming I get across, I was thinking of flying to Berlin after Manchester, and working back to Koblenz from there.

I am almost guaranteed to show up. There are still a handful of obstacles to negotiate.

Excellent. It's always good to get entries from the chaps who are going to be attempting to avoid the wooden spoon as well as those going for the title ;)

Will you be bringing anybody else from the states to contest the wooden spoon with? Presumably you will be competing in the ITC a couple of weeks after? Any chance of you doing Britcon the week before?

I have reason to believe that several American players are pondering a trip to The Worlds, perhaps combined with Britcon.

Rumor has it that the ITC will be taking more than one team per country, which gives me a shot at going to Rome. If that comes through, then Britcon is likely out, due to practical considerations. Combining a potential trip to Rome with Koblenz is one of the hurdles I am still sorting out.

Will there be an official announcement on that subject?

That was it. In essence, it's upto the nation's representative to sort out the teams. We've had the vote and it has been decided to allow two teams per nation.

I have signed up for the FoG:AM at the Worlds. It looks as though I will also be in Rome, with sightseeing in between. Should be a fantastic trip.

Well, as soon as I have all army lists, I will update the webpage and create runners and riders.
Until then, everybody will play the same army :)

Here is the actual overview:
Germany: 17 players
UK: 9 players
France: 2 players
Italy: 4 players
Spain: 2 players
NZL: 2 players
Australia: 2 players
Austria: 3 players
Switzerland: 1 player
USA: 1 player
Belgium: 1 player

So 44 in total now

Is there any sight seeing or other activities planned?

I.e. should I book flights for Wednesday or Thursday?

You,ve not read the website lately then ,there is a Koblenz sight seeing trip
Martin it may be worth organising a Rhein boat trip especially if the same result could be achieved that the New Orleans everglades trip managed
For those unaware there was a certain amount of capsizing with notable gamers ending up in crocodile infected waters, not suggesting anyone.........

Well, Dave, yes, for Saturday evening we have planned a sightseeing tour with a city guide (in english(!!!)).
This can be booked on our webpage, either in combination with the tournament or also separately.

Information about the guided city tour can be found here: http://www.komicon.de/the-worlds-2014/guided-city-tour/
You can also directly book there with the PayPal-Button

Additionally, we now also offer a SAGA-tournament!
It can also be found on our webpage, and can be booked there.
So, if you now some SAGA-fans willing to join "The Worlds", let them know!

Good stuff there !!
To be pedantic it was alligator infested and the Everglades are in Florida.....
Louisiana has bayous which must mean swamp in French...
We still laugh about the international incident that was barely averted...
Having the South African Jr. team eaten by gators would have made headlines around the world...

Best regards
