Help with Basing material.

Post by kevinj »

I've been happily using Army Painter Dusty Battlefields flock. For some reason they have discontinued this so I'm looking for a replacement. It's a fairly fine grade flock, lightish brown in colour that I use with PVA glue as the foundation for my bases. Can anyone recommend a similar alternative?

Woodland scenics ,fine turf - Earth, will prolly match. Certainly same sort of foamy flock, even if the colour does quite match

I normally buy mine from North Wales Models

fast and efficient in my experience (as long as you dont mind patronising the Welsh     )

You can mix the Woodland Scenics "components", turf, rock, etc., and get a nice "one-step" formula to put over the glue. Works great!
