Re: Calling out the icon collectors
That must be a lot of work, nicely done!
Re: Calling out the icon collectors
Thanks, I bet there are quite a few mistakes of different sorts - these were a LOT of units and even more icons to go through. I'm glad for all corrections anyone can help with.Ballermann wrote:Thats really a nice overview.![]()
BTW:
There are two mistakes,
the two "Panther G - M10 Ersatz" are only reskinned by me. The creator is "T2_2112"
"Sturmgrenadiere.png" and "Sturmpio_Land.png" is not by churchlakecity there are made by puma.
I'll correct the Sturmgrenadiere and SturmPio authorship - however I generally assigned a unit to the last person that "touched" it, so if someone reskinned one of bebro's unit, that person would then be considered the author. Complex tracking of everything is a bit much to ask of me - if you want to forego your "right to be mentioned", though I'll re-adjust the units to T2_2112. You want me to do that?
In other news, added all AT units. Phew.

Re: Calling out the icon collectors
Hmm, i think its only fair, because i have only reskind with Dwights Camo Sprayshop and a littlebit with gimp 2, but the real work/creator was T2_2112rezaf wrote:Complex tracking of everything is a bit much to ask of me - if you want to forego your "right to be mentioned", though I'll re-adjust the units to T2_2112. So its your choice to write, what you think whats right.
BTW:
The 10.5 cm leichte Feldhaubitze 18 "10.5_cm_leFH_AT.png" Unknown is by puma...
Sorry, for my bad school english...

I'm fairly new to the PC scene, but I've read enough threads to figure out Churchy's graphics are among the very best. Any chance of a re-up? If so, I'd be very, very grateful.
Cheers!

Hi, rezaf. Good job with the Grand Armory!
I might be interested in using some of the graphics, including some by unknown makers, in my scenarios. Do you have any plans to upload the full images to a file-sharing site so they can be downloaded?

Re: Calling out the icon collectors
In particular, does anyone know who the maker of these graphics is or where the full images can be downloaded? They look as if they are created by the same person (listed as unknown in the Grand Armory).

Re: Calling out the icon collectors
Well, they look quite familiar to me. I reskinned these and a few more German units for the Hungarian mod with Dwight's camo spray shop.
And, I am using them for the new Battlefield: Europe mod as well.
Dunno why these are listed under "unknown", though...
Maybe I am the Unknown Soldier?

Ah, turns out I have them on my computer already as I downloaded the Hungarian mod a few days ago! They're a nice set.McGuba wrote:Well, they look quite familiar to me. I reskinned these and a few more German units for the Hungarian mod with Dwight's camo spray shop.

Sadly it keeps coming up as 'file not found' and then redirecting to the main page. Such a shame as I'd love to see some of your classic units in-game.
Sorry you weren't able to rescue everything from DMP, as I've read so many good comments about your workshop there. And just browsing through the Grand Armory, your units look really amazing!
Great to hear you're working on new units for LoV, as I seem to recall seeing some previews the other day where everyone was raving about how cool and 3D like they looked. Here's wishing you good luck as I'm sure there's lots of us that can hardly wait to see the new units.
Thanks again for all the extra enjoyment you've given to so many PzC fans. If you do happen to find some of your old work and are able to post a new link I'd be totally thrilled!
All the best and take care,
ice

Re: Calling out the icon collectors
Since some icon makers refuse to give general permission for everyone to use their stuff (mostly DMP, Puma and HBalck), probably not.the_iron_duke wrote:I might be interested in using some of the graphics, including some by unknown makers, in my scenarios. Feel free to PM me about any unit you'd like to have and I'll send it over, though.
Also, @ anyone else, I'll keep all corrections in mind, but decided to go forward with the posting before correcting authorships and other errors, I hope that's in everyones best interest.

Re: Calling out the icon collectors
Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your dedicated work in maintaining "The Grand Armory." Without that thread I would be oblivious to many of the great icons that have been created, so kindly allow me to express appreciation on behalf of all who enjoy seeing what the modders have accomplished. Three cheers plus a well-earned salute!rezaf wrote:Since some icon makers refuse to give general permission for everyone to use their stuff (mostly DMP, Puma and HBalck), probably not.

Also, does your generous offer to pm units apply to noobs (like me) as well? If so, I'd be delighted if you could send a few my way. Thanks again!

Hello to all!
I would like to state that all the units uploaded by me in the "Guille's Multipurpose Units" thread are available for anybody to use in the way they see fit. In the same way, everyone who upload stuff there are subject to the same in-house rules... You will find a lot of stuff there

Of course, I can imagine posting all that is workload enough...rezaf wrote: Also, @ anyone else, I'll keep all corrections in mind, but decided to go forward with the posting before correcting authorships and other errors, I hope that's in everyones best interest.
Just so that it's not forgotten: I think "the 7.5 cm Feldkanone 16 neuer Art" you have credited to me was originally McGuba's work, at least I took it from he Hungarian mod...
