Question about Arnhem
I am on the 1st Arnhem scenario in Market Grden. I have a British Para flamethrower but it doesn't seem to be able to fire. In the information panel there are all zeros in the attack ranges. Is this right? Can this unit only assault and not fire?

They can fire, but adjacent.
I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

It is possible that the info panel isn't correctly handling flamer units.

I'll try to check it out tonight. I had thought I was adjacent but still couldn't attack. Can these units move and fire in the same turn?

Maybe it's an LOS glitch (they're common in these Arhnem maps)

Yes, they can fire after moving. As LM said, it could be LOS, sometimes LOS is strange if you are on slope square and the unit you want to attack is on the hill square or on another slope square.MartyWard wrote:I'll try to check it out tonight. Yes I have been finding out about the odd sights lines in this one. It has cost me more than a few losses!

Well they definitely fire! I must have not had a LOS the first time I tried to use them.
