Questions about MP map briefing

Post by Naxor »

Im just finishing my first multiplayer map but I can't find out how to add victory conditions and make them visible to both players? Here is what im trying. http://postimg.org/image/fags59mdx/ Is it neccessary to add score value? Does it affect anything?

Hello Naxor, I've split off your question, more people will see it this way. What I know is that each scenario has a .pzloc file, were the briefing text can be edited. For examples, look in the Panzer Corps\Data\Scenario folder.

So you need to have two files for your map, the (mapname).pzscn en the (mapname).pzloc. The pzloc file can be edited manually with Excel or notepad, the first entries in the file are where you can enter the briefing text and scenario description. The text can be different from the actual victory conditions, which can only be set in the editor, which you have already done it seems (I can see them in your screenshot). I don't know if the score value matters.

Score value doesn't have any purpose - just don't fill the box in (or put in 0 if you want something to be there!)
