[BUG] Single pixel not rendering in start up video

Post by nats »

OK this is probably considered very minor bug but its something I immediately noticed as soon as I started my first game and now that I have noticed it, its is very noticeable every time I start the game! - there is a single white pixel right in the middle of the start up animation that hasnt rendered at all. Initially I thought it was a dead pixel on my monitor but it isnt and it goes away as soon as the menu screen appears.

Apologies if this has been reported before but I couldnt see a bug report on this forum about it.

Hello nats,

Yes, it's been reported before. The weird things is that I couldn't reproduce it in here. Don't worry, it's in the backlog, so if I manage to reproduce it here, it will be fixed at some point.

There are a lot of things shown in that video that arent actually in the game yet - like vehicle animations in the space complex, gantry animations on the rocket launch screens, exciting mission control room graphics! I hope these are all going to make it into the game because that opening video looks really good!!

Strangely that dead pixel it doesnt appear in this video:
