Newbie Question: How to build new Cities?

Post by Rekushawa »

Hello to all!

I am new to Spartan/GoT and it seems to be a great game. I just played the Tutorials. I am very expierienced in playing Civ, so it´s easy for me to handle the Controlls. Many things seem to behavior similar to Civ... :D

But now I wonder, if there is a possibility to settle/build new cities? It looks like there is no way, so that each scenario has a fixed number of cities. Is that true?

I come from germany, so you may hopefully excuse my crude english...

Nice greetings from europe, Rekushawa

Hi and welcome,

You cannot build new cities in Spartan.

Maybe in Legion II.

Cheers

PS: Viel Spass beim spielen

OK, this is what I thought about it. It´s OK for me, Spartan seems to focus on the more "martial" way to solve problems

Meanwhile I did the Lesbos level (in aprox. 200 turns, thats awful bad, isn´t it?) and now working on crete, so my understanding of the game is growing ;-)
=> Another fixed value seems to be the brick resource level, so every city has a given number of building slots, right? Or is there a way to increase the brick resource level of a city?

@anguille: Danke, ich denke ich werde jede Menge Spass mit dem Spiel haben... :D

Best regards, Rekushawa

Yes it is fixed - the only way to change this is to mod the game.
