Next patch?

When will we see another patch? They patch Rome 2 Total War almost once a week, but then again, that game really needs it.

Beta 1.1.9 just came out yesterday and they mentioned they would implement that version to release version next week.

Beta versions of this game are good enough. It's the first game I play beta as a default game.

I just started playing 1.1.9 last night as my first foray into the Beta versions. So far I like the changes although having that big bird kill my mines was a bit of a shock. I like that the retrofit option seems a bit fairer and that advancements aren't quite as overweight as they used to be in the tech tree. It still remains o be seen if the AI improvements are any good, but if so, then the challenge and hence the replay value of this game should be much improved.

You could always go ahead and install the beta. I've been trying it out and it's been very stable. There's some definite improvements over the official version.
