major snafu in a multi pplayer game

I was playing the Rescue scenario with gortwillsaveus. We had successfully played three or four turns when just now (21:15 UK time) the scenario changed to the Road to Caen which gortwillsaveus and I played and completed some weeks ago. Not sure what happened to the Rescue scenario.

Hi alfamail, when you got the game changed, was it already finished or at the same stage as the Road to Caen game you played with gortwillsaveus?
If you didn't send your turn back to the opponent, we can try to revert back the last turn backup

The Rescue scenario was at a very early stage - not finished. The Road to Caen scenario which had been finished was returned to me at about turn 3 or 4 i.e. not finished. Unfortunately I used the message function to tell gortwillsaveus that something had gone wrong. A little later our game (under the Rescue name) appeared as "completed" and I got an e-mail to that effect - not sure if the system did that or gortwillsaveus did it.

Please note that my only contact with gortwillsaveus is through these games.

If you can get the Rescue game back (at the stage we were at) that would be great. But my main concern is that this might happen to any game scenario at any time which would be "upsetting".
