shock units in overlap

Hy,

I tought that shock units fighting only as overlap would be considered fighting and not have to test to charge an opponent in range.

it seems they have to charge or test not to charge .

Which is correct ? ( i had 2 different ruling so that's why I ask )

Yes, check out page 54, V2. Top of page says BGs in overlap only can choose to charge a different enemy , evade, move normally, or continue fighting in overlap.
