Tunisia - Race To Tunis '42 MP Battle Pack - UPDATE
All,
A status update. Race To Tunis '42 (RTT '42) MP Battle Pack One will be available for public consumption by the end of January. The closed beta is halfway finished. This first battle pack will consist of *Five* historic scenarios, focusing on the period 17 NOV - 31 DEC 1942. The scenarios will be balanced for Multiplayer play, and will have large maps, utilizing layered and weighted Victory Conditions designed to allow players multiple tactical options to achieve operational goals, resulting in scenarios which allow for multiple replays, as both sides use varying strategies to win.
Good Hunting!

I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

Race To Tunis '42 MP Battle Pack have no AI data. They were designed specifically with Multiplayer in mind.MartyWard wrote:Is it possible to play these types of custom add-on's against the AI?

Would we begin recruitment for the mighty armies at play? I'm already enlisted with the Afrika Korps!

Re: Tunisia - Race To Tunis '42 MP Battle Pack - UPDATE
As I youngster I extensively played Vulcan - Race for Tunis - which looks like what the battle map is taken from so hopefully I have an unfair advantage - it'll be nice to feel the GJS boot on the other foot - the same foot that will boot you right up your jacksy and send you scurrying all the way back to your beloved fatherland.
And it's good to hear Tunisian priorities will take the place of your studies - pity GJS campaign didn't attain the same level of devotion from yourself.......

Close, Pdaddy, the Map is actually from GDW's old counter and hex Race For Tunis. Same time frame though.

Re: Tunisia - Race To Tunis '42 MP Battle Pack - UPDATE
Had a little search for nostalgia purposes and found this:
http://cpcrulez.fr/GamesTest/vulcan-the ... mpaign.htm
WOW, 1987 - now that shows how old I am - bet most on here werent even nappy wetting by then. Use to run it on a commodore 16 then progressed onto the floppy disk version on my Amstrad 6128.
Now I played a game on the Amiga - not sure what the game was - UMC or something like that - it was a serious military sim with battles ranging from hordes of Mongolia tribes men to early Second World War, now that was a defining military sim for me - wish I could remember the bloody name but if anybody else played it it would stick in their minds.
Anyway sorry to post this here just got all giddy from a nostalgic point of view.
