UK Games Expo - Birmingham May 31st

Post by hammy »

I am in the process of sorting out the format for this year's Games Expo FoG tournament(s)

The easy option is to repeat what happened last year as in FoG:AM and FoG:R on Saturday and FoW on the Sunday.
As an alternative I could propose FoG:AM & FoW mid war on the Saturday and FoG:R & FoW late war on the Sunday.

The question is are there players who would play FoG:AM one day and FoG:R on the other or am I just overcomplicating things.

Any opinons or thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm only interested in playing Fog R. It may be that FoW might have more appeal to passers-by, so there could be some benefit in running it both days.

There seems to be interest from Flames of War players to have Flames of War on both days but very little response from the FoG community.

I suspect that an e-mail to previous players at the event might be a good plan.

The ticketing system for the Expo goes live tomorrow evening.

Rather confusingly it has been showing all events as sold out up till this point.

There are two spaces left for this comp now after the Expo added some last week, the booking system closes on Friday so if you want to enter there is still time.

Lists need to go to me hammy@the-riverbank.net ideally by this weekend

Do we have any results for this competition so I can include them in the rankings?
