Can't update to 1.1.8

Updater will not let me load 1.1.8.

I am currently at beta 1.1.7 , but I noticed there was 2 release of 1.1.7, one just after new year, which was not announced and didn't showed any patch notes.

Since this update I can't update anything else on my beta version. If I reinstall release version to 1.1.2 and then relaunch updater for the beta version it reinstalls 1.1.7 (the one without patch note) and then says my version is up to date.

Help? Anybody else have the same problem?

Yup! problem solved, I was able to update to 1.1.8, thanks alot!

I will play a game to see how the new refit by AI works out.

I did however quick checked and the tech tree can still be abused by queuing several techs and then deselecting the first one, enabling you to 'jump' as many tech as you want in your progress. Of course player can self discipline and not do it, but in MP games it does raise a trust issue.
