scenario turn limits?

I have read on this forum that major victories in the GC 1939-45 are no longer the result of how fast you capture the objective as the scenario turn limits have been increased. I am not really seeing this as some scenarios are 25 turns long but you have to capture all the victory hexes with 9 turns remaining, meaning you have 16 turns! If this is less time dependent then what were the victory conditions in the non DLC game?! Have I misread the posts...it seems major victory is still largely dependent on getting to the objectives as fast as you can!

In the Wehrmacht Campaign (the one the game was first made with), all the attack scenarios have the same victory format:

DV: Capture all objectives with "x" turns remaining
MV: Capture all objectives before the end of scenario.

In defensives, it is always:

DV: Hold all objectives
MV: Hold all but "y" objectives

In the other campaigns (DLC, Afrika and Allies), the scenarios have all sorts of challenges such as:
- Move a unit to point A
- Keep a certain unit alive for the whole scenario
- Retreat all of your army
- Destroy a number of enemy units.

Really? This may seem like a silly question but the Grand Campaign 1939-45 mega pack DLC is that the Wehrmacht Campaign with all the DLCs together? Because I have yet to receive any challenges like you mentioned I am up to the Ukraine scenario (don't know the actual name). They have all be capture X by set time.

I think you're not starting the DLC but the standard campaign. When you've installed a DLC, it will become available through the little folder icon at the bottom right of the new game dialog screen.
