AK and Mega pack

If I intsall the afrika corp game will the scenarios be compatible with the GC Mega Pack. Will it expand my GC into the Africa theater? Do I have to start a new game for that to take effect?

They are separate campaigns: AK, Allied, Wehrmacht and GC Megapack don`t intertwine.
