FOG ver 2 - Army book question

Post by Malty666 »

Hi everyone,

I've been away for a long time, but have come back to FOG. I bought the tablet edition of the rulebook - and I think it's nice. I prefer the new digital format, but that's me.

What I want to know is do I have to buy ver 2 army books too? I have most of the original ones and want some clarification (I searched the forum but couldn't find any clear indication) as to whether the new army lists have anything different from the ver 1 printed ones.

So can I just use the amendments in the ver 2 rulebook appendix? Or do I have to buy ver 2 army lists?

Thanks,

Justin

The army books as a whole have not (and there does not appear to any plans to) been revised for Version 2. I don't have the electronic version of Rise of Rome and am not sure if the revisions were added to it. I would stick to the Version 1 books and apply the changes.

Thanks for the quick reply

That's good news as it will let me spend the money on more figures :)

The V2 changes are included in the digitial V2 Rise of Rome. But nothing that isn't listed as a change in the V2 rules.
