I am having lock ups in both games I purchased

You guys have great games but it is a let down that I have yet to be able to play "The Great War" which I zip a game and sent it waiting. Now I am crashing in "Europe at War" Can any techs spot what is happening?

Which version are you playing? The regular CEAW v1.12? Grand Strategy v2.0, v2.1 or v3.0?

I tried the autosave file and couldn't load it.

Were you playing hotseat, against the AI, against another person (PBEM)?

Hi,
I was able to load this in CEAW-GS v2.0 AI game. The Allied player had selected a unit to alter the name. I was able to advance the turn to the AI side.

The game continued to play until the game froze during a battle between a Uboat and UK DD.

I could not find a crash report.

That version (CEAW-GS v2.0) is no longer supported.

I just bought these games 2 weeks ago from their website, are you saying I have old versions of the game?

If you just purchased them you should be able to download the free update to v3.00 .

Remember the game may still freeze while playing the AI (esp the Allies)
