I was like Oh hi.. uh Okay. I know I crushed you totally in a single turn via drop pods with my assault troopers last month but holy I didn't expect you to hold a grudge like that. You're AI! XD
I checked the rating, They was at 5 dots, me at 3 dots. Not bad. Then I upgraded all my Colonial Troopers which was wielding lance/steel armor into Gauss rifles/armor; kept the delusion defense field. And had them fight int he field on the row of mountains protecting my cities for extra 25% boost Along with three level 10 Steel Avengers upgraded into Gauss Avengers. Had the tanks protect the flat lands while infantry manned the mountains.
Then came the first wave, they was roughed up by Pandora xenomorphs for me. Taking care of them was a piece of cake.
2nd/3rd wave was mixed bag, I smashed them but lost a bunch of troopers. And my two gauss strike fighters died here.
Then came the Kamikazing Strike fighters they all just crashed into one of my ciites so fast I couldn't reinforce them so all my wounded troopers who was forced to fight them without healing because they survived for lots of turns eventually died and city was left undefended but strike fighters died in vain too because they couldn't take the city.
I did see a bunch of barracudas from them but I had just enough barracudas to fend them off to keep the city from being taken. At this point my front line was just about gone but with fresh reinforcements arriving in a turn or two. My frontline cities finally built the mechanization era city defenses + Nexus command center plus my weaponry being one tier higher than Divine Ascendant's Zortium bazookas/armor.
Divine ascendant finally gave up after she got her 5 dots reduced to two with my three dots reduced to two dots. heh.
I could feel the rage emanating from their soldiers somehow. xD
