Where is the official QRS?

Post by miffedofreading »

There is a very good unofficial one on the Yahoo group. Even in full colour now :)

My one and only real complaint about these rules is that ain't no god darned QRS, forcing us to work off photocopies and now unofficial ones.

I know Hammy had kind of finished one over a week ago?????

I hope that when the official one appears it will be worth waiting for. The ones on the Yahoo list are fine and do the job well and I know that Slitherine / Osprey want the official one to be even better.

BTW, I don't use any quick reference sheets and haven't since about game 4. The vast majority of the factors are IMO logical and easy to remember.

Hammy,

I have complete confidence in you, that's why I want the QRS!

I remember most myself now as well. But I am getting newbies around the table each week, and they find it easier to follow what is going on with the QRS, I give them a copy to take home with them and study. Hopefully they are motivated to go out and buy rules, paint figures and play games :)

Interest has been very high so far

I think that this is one of the reasons that Slitherine / Osprey want the official QRS to be attractive as well as usefull.

JD and Iain have been out of the country for a while. The last I heard the layout was with Osprey. When I know more I will post it.

Sorry
