Re: Panzer Corps iPad is out now! Worldwide!
Ugh. Add me to those who want to be able to disable the music. Disabling the music is always the very first thing that I do when playing a game. I can't believe this isn't an option! (Unless we are over-looking it). I have to mute the sound completely.

If there is some sort of wish list going, can we have better hotseat multiplayer support?
All we have in terms of hotseat at the moment are campaign scenarios, while online multiplayer has balanced pre-set scenarios that are much more 'competition friendly.' It would be great if those could be made available for hot seat too...
Also, being a veteran of "Panzer Tactics" (the lesser known Nintendo DS version of Panzer Generals), the hotseat/multiplayer for that was great in terms of unpredictability/replayability... You chose a set amount of starting prestige for each side, picked the nations, the map and then the victory conditions (capture enemy capital, capture all cities or annihilate all enemy forces). When the game started both sides started with their capital town/city and an airfield with their starting prestige to purchase their own starting armed force and place them on the battlefield during their deployment phase.
Long story short, I would love to see the existing online multiplayer scenarios made available for hotseat, and if it isn't too much trouble the addition of a Panzer Tactics like multiplayer system too. (maybe a DLC?)
Other than that, this game is spectacular, thankyou for making this available on iPad!

cant turn music off without turning audio off...really?
Re: Panzer Corps iPad is out now! Worldwide!
I’m enjoying it quite a bit. If this is a wishlist and bug reporting thread, though, here are my thoughts:
Bug: a unit received the Knight’s Cross while defending during the enemy’s turn. The pop-up telling me about the commendation would not close until after all of the enemy’s moves were over, so I couldn’t see what was going on.
Bug(?): scrolling across the battlefield by pressing somewhere on the map and dragging my finger doesn’t always work like it should. The screen often re-centers on the last unit I selected instead of letting me scroll. This gets very annoying. It seems like if you press somewhere near your selected unit, it scrolls as normal; it’s pushing further away which results in re-centering.
Wishlist: volume sliders for the music and sound effects, and support for playing our own music. Don’t get me wrong, I think very highly of the game’s music, but I’m going to get tired of the soundtrack before I get tired of the game.
Wishlist: as others have mentioned, the gray and green are awfully similar.
Wishlist: I don’t know how to do it, but there’s got to be a better way of de-selecting an aircraft unit. All too often I’ve clicked on the unit itself and dropped its bombs, because I didn’t see anywhere else on the screen that wouldn’t result in moving the unit there.

carlisimo brings up all the important points, please listen to everything he is saying
Also, not only are the green and gray very simmilar, but it is also hard to tell apart neutral primary objectives and axis controlled primary objectives, a distinct white circle shade or something similar would fix this easily
Also, how do we tell what different terrain does?

Hi guys,
Fixes and some polish that did not make the initial release will be provided within the next update, among this will be music and SFX volume options.

Thx for the work. I bought whole package and am enjoying one bite at a time.
Will combat detail that is on on pc and not on ipad yet be part of next patch? It has been talked about on one of the forums and even our preference for location of pop up was asked for. I think it would be very nice add.
Real gem here. Thx again.

Thanks for addressing the independent music control in an upcoming patch.
I've been playing the heck out of this game, and can honestly say it's easily my favorite iOS game of all time. To say that I recommend it to anyone with an interest in turn-based strategy war games is an understatement.

Lovely, thanks! For me, at least, it works better than most large iPad games do before they get their first update. However, yesterday I did run into some trouble at Kiev and Moscow 41 with touch zones. Especially towards the south of the maps, it felt like my finger taps were being interpreted as if they were 1/3 of a hex away. I was making a lot of mis-taps, too many to be coincidence.
Also… I don’t know if this is an iPad-version issue or a general one, but I’m not sure the game counts right. (Or it could be me.) I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten decisive victories after using one more turn than I thought was acceptable for a DV, e.g. winning after ending turn 15 when there are 22 and you need to finish 8 turns faster to get the DV. I’ll also count 30 core units in my list, deploy them on a mission that gives me 30 core slots, and then the game tells me I have three more core slots to use.
Re: Panzer Corps iPad is out now! Worldwide!
I might be dense or blind, but I've been unable to find the available core slots for deployment. I see core slots in the purchase window but this seems just to reflect the reserves I have. When purchasing units, a couple of times I've ended up with two many units. This seems to be one thing that did not cross over from the PC version and it's causing me trouble.
Re: Panzer Corps iPad is out now! Worldwide!
As far as the ending on turn 15 in 22 turns, by "finishing" on turn 15 you technically have 8 turns left, if you count 15 and 22 (15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22), I dunno if that is the intention of the creator or not. Also… I don’t know if this is an iPad-version issue or a general one, but I’m not sure the game counts right. As far as "extra" core slots, I know the SE units don't count against your core limit, so I'm guessing that's what it is?
As for kieon's question about the core slots, I remember there being a number right under your total prestige in the purchase window. I find that if you deploy all your units you want to deploy first, the core slots remaining will change, so I find I deploy everything first, then see how many slots I have remaining: maybe I'll take out a unit I don't want to deploy this turn if I find my force balance is not right.

I don't see the number change during the deployment phase, only after I start the battle.ksasaki wrote:As for kieon's question about the core slots, I remember there being a number right under your total prestige in the purchase window. Hi guys
if you spot bugs or have suggestions it would be best to post them in the PzC forum as posts here are more likely to get lost or not read by the dev team.
Thanks!
