If you are asking whether you can make a version of MG which isn't carryover, then I believe it could be done, though it is not something I have tried. The carryover elements would need to be removed and rebalanced I guess?

Start over and save each new scenario separately at the beginning.

Yes you must redo them all and make a separate sage for each mission (roughly 8 )
