iPad 1 crashes

This doesn't always happen but it is regular enough that I've just received a 'helpful' email from Slytherine asking why I have downloaded the same MP turns for PC multiple times.
The answer is that Panzer Corps is not completely stable on the iPad 1, even with nothing else running, hard reboot etc. However, it is not consistently crashing, sometimes I can play MP and single player for quite a while before a failure.

On the other hand; great game. Am really enjoying it. Once this occasional crashing and the ability to turn the music off is fixed I'll be a happy fellow.

I have the exact same issue on my iPad 1 64 Gb.
Closing all programs only solves the problem somewhat.
From Stalingrad, it crashes on the first Allied turn, so I am rather stuck

I'm assuming that you won't actually kill my PBEM++ account?

I am forced to regularly restart Panzer Corps and re-download MP turns, sometimes several times before I am able to complete and upload my turn. The crashes do not happen at a consistent point, sometimes when I try to end my turn, other times partway through a move.

FYI: Just crashed again, this time on the purchase screen of the Hylan Valley MP game (I am Germans in this paired game).

Yes, getting the same thing here on IPad 1. Random crashes. Playing solo in first German campaign.

Any suggestions appreciated. Other than the crashes, great game...played the PC version in the past and this is awesome on IPad.

Love the game. Ipad1 Panzer Corps crashes about every 2 hours of play, never at the same point. Being a programmer myself, suspect the program crash is not the code but rather the Ipad1 limited memory. As I understand it, the Ipad1 has 1 GB memory & mine has 16 GB HD (6 GB remaining). Am not running multitasking. As far as I can see, Panzer Corps doesn't use much HD (if any) to run the code.

The iPad 1 actually only has 256Mb of RAM, and yes, the terminations are (probably) the result of iOS and it's unfriendly memory "management" system.

We will take a look and see if there is any way to improve performance on the iPad 1. Rebooting before play (to free up the max available memory) is a way to hopefully reduce the occurences of issues.
