Help! My wallet is stolen!!

Post by andrasan »

Hi all, I know that this is not going to help me right now as I am already a victim of theft. My wallet has been stolen and I have lost all my important documents that even included my financial details. I fear that they may be used to make my accounts drain. I have already taken the necessary steps for this but this is going to be a real danger in future as it is sometimes too late and by that time everything is gone. I wanted to know that if there are any pre-steps that we can take in case of wallet theft? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Obviously you should go to the police station but first call to you credit card company to nulify all your credit cards...that´s what i´ve done in the past.

Contact the police, bank and all your credit card companies. Block all accounts, open new accounts and transfer current funds and balances to them.

Clearly this is some kind of Phishing, but I don't see how it works. Maybe the guy that cooked it up doesn't either. Sort of like the Pirahna brothers.

The Plan
Threaten to beat someone up if they give you their money.

The second plan
Give somone some money then beat them up.

The third and final plan
Threaten to beat someone up unless they give you their money.

This guy it seems is on plan 1 develpomentaly.

I guess we should offer to take care of everything for him if he would just give us his credit info. Oh excuse me that's..

"If you are please to be giving us your numbers of accounts we are taking with us to a place of security for your information safety very earnestly.

There were some corresponding 'fake' replies with websites. I deleted them.

I should have deleted this one too, but there wasn't anything toxic.

Cheers

Ah, I assumed this was the case.

There were at least two similar posts asking about how to 'combat identity theft'.

Does this mean a bot is able to create Slitherine accounts?

It's probably possible as we don't have too many stringent security checks as it tends to put new users off of signing up.
