BA Won't Never Stops Checking for update

Greetings,

All of a sudden BA 2.5.0 won't stop checking for and update? Never had the problem before. What needs to be done to fix it? Thanks for your help.

It sounds like a firewall issue, preventing the game from downloading the update and launcher data. You may need to re-authorise the game EXE.

Is there a new update I don't know about? As far as I know I have the latest. Also I tried reloading the 2.5.0 patch already. If there is a new update where do I go to download it. I tried reauthorizing the BA.EXE file and no luck there.

As I say - if the launcher is perpetually saying "checking for updates" what it means is that it cannot download the data needed to tell what the latest version is. If this has just started, then something on your system is preventing it from downloading the data.
