advanced options guide and Hello
Hello, i have been playing BA for about 2 months and I have a few questions. Can someone point me to a tutorial that really explains the advanced settings options?? What is the opponent UI? What is the difference between standard and enhanced on the first option and is screen shake off when the bottom tab displays "disable screen shake". The other main question i have is how does the game speed effect the game play. I would also like any tips to optimise the game play on an iPad mini (non-retina, A5) thanx allot I look forward to talking with your guys. This is my first ever turn based type of game.

I'm not sure what you mean by "opponent UI" - do you mean the more detailed UI tooltips? The buttons tend to be annotated with what they will do, so if it says "disable screen shake" then it means that currently the shake is on, and tapping will disable it.
Game speed affects the gameplay not at all, it simply makes things move more quickly or slowly once a turn is made.

Great, that is a good start for me, can you tell me what the what "AI: using standard vs. Enhanced" is? And also "Opponent UI:on vs. Off" Also when playing at the middle "easy mode" does this reduce features such as moral upgrade, unit upgrade, medic healing etc.. or does it just make the opponent a bit weaker with no other game changes? Thank you very much , Ed

The UI means that you can see the opponents selected units at the bottom of the screen they are selected. Otherwise, with it off, you will not see anything. For instance, during their turn as they select units you will see them appear on the unit select area of the UI. I prefer it off, since there is a fog of war present it does not make sense to see which units the ai is selecting.
The difficulty settings to the left of the rightmost (forgot the name) give you statistical advantages. Not sure what they are--never played with them.
I don't know what the enhanced vs normal ai settings do but I've only played with enhanced.

Maybe Pip can answer the enhanced vs. standard? I really love this game, I got the first four IAP's for my iPad version and today I just got BA for my PC and got the Rommel in Normandy expansion. I like playing it with the mouse too. I Actually really enjoy this game, it strikes a nice balance of strategy and graphics. Its nice to find a game that is engaging and visually appealing without having to have a $3k gaming computer with crazy graphics cards to enjoy!!!

The AI is just a switch that toggles "better" AI. You should leave it turned on - the switch was only there for people who might prefer the AI-ness of the older, less capable AI

Wellcome edjo!
AI means Artificial Intelligence.
This game is fantastic, but i really recommend you to play multiplayer. You will find that amazing, and without any pressure about quick movements or something like that.
You may have some active matches and at the same time play as you have been doin`till now.
Greetings and have a lot of fun!
