I have bought everything related to WWII. My gripe is that I have paid for the download edition of the pre-release BASPM when it first became available. I paid for the whole shooting match (hard c0py + rule book} but have heard nothing about status of the game. My credit card was charged quickly but I have nothing to show for it. Need a good rulebook to understand this game. Fuzedude

Welcome to the SPM forums! The game is in active development, we have been releasing patches every Friday since the game was released (see the changelog here for more details) and we're constantly addressing issues reported by players, implementing some of their suggestions and adding new content. At this point in development, it doesn't make sense to provide a proper manual since the gameplay mechanics are constantly evolving, mostly driven by the suggestions reported by the players. As an example: some players expressed their interest in being able to "mix-and-match" rockets and payloads, a feature that wasn't originally planned that will be implemented soon. Rest assured, the released version will contain a manual, but we're waiting to have all the gameplay mechanics in place before doing so.

Feel free to ask any questions you have about the game here at the forums. Either I or some experienced players will be happy to address them.
