Eastern cavalry with carbines

Post by nikgaukroger »

Whilst I'm thinking about new figures has anyone any suggestions for eastern European cavalry types shooting with carbine or similar that would work for C17th troops like Szeklers, Hussars, etc.

Old Glory, or the Polish company who are not Fire and Sword...

Are they specifically eastern European? Look more or less like normal Harquebusier types to me - apart, maybe, from the one on the right.

Their figures look quite nice, but like you I don't think I'm brave enough to order - be good if they had a UK dealer, I'd try them then.

I've got some - no problems at all with the order. They also do some Poles in armour, which are the ones I was thinking of.

There are some in shot (just past the Mikes Models Hussars) here

Ah, good old Essex - you can tell they're eastern as they have a fur cap on

See Simon's post on my Fire & Swords figures topic, he thinks that the figures are not great!
