Panzer Corps iPad is ready
It’s finally here. One of the best strategy games of the past decade is coming to iPad on December 18th, unchanged and with no features left out. Panzer Corps Wehrmacht has been defined as “a great remake of a timeless classic”, “a great wargame”, “the most compelling game in years” and now it’s coming to the touch generation.
“The work on Panzer Corps for iPad has been a real team effort between our internal production team, Flashback Games and The Lordz Games Studio”, said Iain McNeil, Development Director of the Slitherine Group. “We really wanted the game to include every single feature the PC game has and that’s why it’s taken such a long time to release it, but we’re sure players will think it was worth the wait. We’ve even added some cool new features not on PC”.
Panzer Corps will release with full cross platform multiplayer, allowing players to match up against friends all over the world on any platform. It will also include all previously released DLCs and expansions, including the recently release Allied Corps and the ten linked Grand Campaign add-ons.
“We are willing to give this market something new, while staying true to our wargaming niche values”, said JD McNeil, Chairman of the Slitherine Group. “This project is a stepping stone because it shows we work with our development partners to bring the games to the next level even years after they’ve been released”.
With the recent announcement of Panzer Corps being Greenlit on Steam it promises to be a very bright future for the series. For more information about the game, check out the product page.

Re: Panzer Corps iPad is ready
Whether Panzer Corps will compatible with iPad mini/iPad mini with retina?
Re: Panzer Corps iPad is ready
Yes. I think about a half of our beta testers used Minis, an we also tested the game on a Mini Retina device.klepkv wrote:Whether Panzer Corps will compatible with iPad mini/iPad mini with retina?

Is the scenario editor included?
Can you import and play on the iPad user-created scenarios from this website?

Re: Panzer Corps iPad is ready
There is no scenario editor - there is no way on iPad to copy files around so its not as simple as on PC. We might look at this again at some future point but it won't be in the immediate future.
Re: Panzer Corps iPad is ready
Is it possible to somehow use savegames from the PC version with the iPad version? So I could start a mission at home and continue in the bus, for example. If not, is this planned?
And how much is it for the "Give me everything" IAP?

Re: Panzer Corps iPad is ready
This was in response to a post that didn't understand why games cost more than $10 and were aghast that you had to pay for IAP as well.
Panzer Corps is the full game that released at £29.99 on PC. This is what you are buying when you buy Panzer Corps. This is a full complete game with ~30 missions which cover the entire war from Poland to Berlin with some what if scenarios thrown in.
We later released 10 Grand Campaign expansions which have about 15 missions each and deal with the war in much greater detail. They bolt together to give you over 150 missions for the entire war. This is an enormous amount of content. There are literally hundreds of hours of gameplay for a single play through and there are branches for replay value. These are £2.99 each.
We also released 2 sequels to Panzer Corps. They are fully featured and the same amount of content as the original game. Allied Corps and Afrika Korps are full stand alone games on PC selling ~for £19.99 and on iPad for £10.49.
Each IAP is an expansion, not a part of the game that is taken off to charge for as an IAP. You get a full game for the base price. Obviously we can't give 12 expansions away for free - so they are available as IAP. You don't need them at all but if you like the game you can grab them.

Whilst I do love panzer corp (and got it and the add on packs all on release), the prices you have quoted seem a bit .... Off when the game was released 2 years ago it was £29 now it's £12.99 including an editor which you have said isn't included in the iPad version (and that that would be reflected in the price) also Afrika corp is now £8.99.
Could you confirm the costs ? I am guessing that we might have to wait for it to be released looking at the time.

The PC version currently in the Christmas sale but the usual price is £19.99 for a download + VAT. When it released it was around £29.99.
The iPad version is £13.99.

I was greatly anticipating this game for iPad, but I'm holding off because it is way too pricy as it stands.
This is not a PC release, you are trying to sell to an iOS audience... Not to mention having competition too, 'Glory of Generals' has two games that are essentially also Panzer Generals ancestors, and they are both selling for $0.99.
Something around the $10 would still be pushing it, but it would be more reasonable, you are especially going to scare customers off with the in game purchase screenshot, not everyone will come here to your site to see what it's about, or even know about the PC version that came before.
You are killing thousands of potential sales with that price tag, consider raising it after it hits the top charts for example, you need popularity on that market first.

Get A Life. Obviously you haven't been to the apple store. The price you want is ridiculous. You want some $0.99 game and this is far much more better.
