Changing sides during the game

I have encountered a strange error, when the opponent finished his turn in a custom map, somehow the sides were changed. Instead of playing Allies, I'm now seeing the last position of the German player and I'm able to control his units. It looks as if he hasn't moved, as the position of units seems similar to what I've seen in my turn playing Allies.

I only saw this happen once in the past, but then it happened right after the game started, not in play.

Hmmmm. Can you let me know the opponent, map, and last changed time and we will grab the games and take a look.

Same here. I play against "Big" right now. I wasnt able to uploud my turn and I wasnt able to save my turn. So i quit. Seems like "Big" could load a turn and the side change. Now I am controlling the Germans instead of the Allies.
To be honest THIS SUCKS! I return to this game from time to time in the last three years and when one problem seems to be solved another one comes up.
Why is this?

Oh, and this would not be such a problem if I had rudimentarily chance to communicate with the dudes I play against. A n ingame lobby, a possibility to contact them ingame not just in this forum, to tell them that is was a bug or a server error that killed the game we where playing.
