[BUG ?] No "short duration lunar missions"

Post by N_Molson »

Well, I was very eager when, after achieving the Gemini manned orbital mission, I had a "short duration lunar missions enabled" window at the beginning of the following turn. Of course I rushed to the GSA Headquarters, saw the Moon highlighted, but was disappointed when I saw that the number of programs was still the same.

So I think it is more "content not ready yet" than an actual bug, but then you could expect "feature coming in next releases" or something like that

Yeah, apologies for that! We're nearly there with the Moon missions, so I'm confident I'll be able to deliver at least three lunar expeditions programs in the next patch.

Can you send me a savefile for that? I could use it when testing the Moon missions here :)

Here you go.

While we're on topic, I think that "Duration Level II" should be required to perform lunar flybys without penalties, and "Duration Level III" (should be added in the Gemini missions) should be required for Lunar Orbit / landings with short stay on the surface.

Wooo! Very cool news!

Oh that makes me wonder: Are all 3 apollo variants? Or is one a soviet or gemini variant?
