using map editor for mac computers
Just downloaded BA for my mac and can't figure out how to play a custom game once i've created it in editor. Anyone able to help me out? Thanks in advance. FYI i've been playing the game on my IPAD for about a year now so i am familiar with game play.

Re: using map editor for mac computers
Once you have created a campaign, and then built and saved a map for it, it should show up at the bottom of the campaign list (get their either by scrolling the list with the mouse wheel, using the up/down buttons around the list, or going right with the bottom < > buttons).
If the campaign isn't showing up, you can check it is correctly created by looking in your ~/Documents/My Games/BBCBA folder in either CAMPAIGNS or MULTIPLAYER (depending on what kind of campaign you built).
Cheers

Thanks for the info. It still isnt showing in the campaign section, however i checked the BBCBA folder and the file is in there. What else could be the problem? I named the campaign Axis show it should show up on the campaign list as Axis right?
Re: using map editor for mac computers
ok i figured it out. Is there any guide on how to use the editor? I'd like to do things like remove units, or play as the germans. Thanks again.

There are some instructions for the editor here:

To create an Axis campaign, see this thread:

Extreme greenhorn but when playing around on the editor I can't delete a troop unit. The delete button works for everything else (granted when you're in that specific items category) but for the life of me no unit will delete for me when I'm in the editor. Any ideas?
Also in leu of posting twice I'll just ask here, but is it standard that the editor doesn't have every unit available in it from the game?

I think units need to be moused over and you then hit delete, hmmm - or is it you hold delete and click on the unit... It's one of them!MacD2013 wrote:Extreme greenhorn but when playing around on the editor I can't delete a troop unit. One last one, how do you make the 88s capable of long range artillery?

Heh - I'm not sure what you mean. You could write some custom scripting to do so - you can look at the setups for the Priest etc.
