Division A
eric (Fatimids) 26/46 vs Tiavals (Ghaznavids) 35/30
Played on the same map as hidde and having learnt my lesson agst him, tweaked the army a bit and deployed a lot better. Although got very lucky on Tiavals turn where his steady uphill sup arm dailami got fragmented by an average steady def spear. That caused a bit of a hole and was probably the game changing combat.

Division A
batesmotel (Hatran) 30/33 - stockwellpete (Lysimachid successor) 33/33
Thanks for a good game. This one was a real nail biter and went down to the wire. The Hatrans suffered early on from Cataphracts being unable to resist impaling themselves on Pete's skillfully maneuvered pikes in anarchy charges but in the end enough survived together with shooting from the Hatran LH and the Alan allies to take down the Lysimachids before the Hatrans broke.

Div D result
Brenmusik Early South Slavs (later) 22/52 defeats otbc Italian Ostrogoths 35/30
A tale of two opposite flank attacks, mine came out on top. It might have gone the other way, if the "goth" cavalry had followed orders.

Note challenge to leomax857 on page 4 back in October. That was never picked up. I assume that player is really leox857, and I mistyped the challenge. I am reposting now. Password: leox857

Re: Eternal Empire: post your results here . . .
This certainly was a surprising competition overall, quite a few twists and turns. Congrats to eric for winning(despite me winning against him in our bracket
), and thanks to everyone from my part as well.
