Cardiff

Post by dave_r »

It seems I'll be working in Cardiff for the next six months or so (or until they get to know me and I get fired).

Are there any clubs that play FoG nearby?

RBS is in Usk?

I think Eric Doman is in Wales? And possibly Richard Young as well - although he plays FoGR.

Don't forget Damien Ranasinghe of Donnington fame is also in Usk. RBS often cites himself as playing for the Newport club so I suspect there is a club there.

Dave and RBS as regular playing partners - now that would be worth the ticket price!

I'm not entirely sure whether RBS is playing much AM any more... so the world may miss out on that particular potential ratings winner.

Or dave_r could take up playing FoGR... then you would see that ratings winner of a pairing of someone who is able to pronounce what he deems to be what the rules mean even if that bears no relation to what is written...

with RBS.

That would mean RBS playing RBS though surely?

Unfortunately, at the weekends I will be back in sunny Manchester, so Oxford is a bit far to travel - but thanks for the offer.

Has anybody got Rich Perry's email address?
