I can recommend some choirs if you don't get any better offers, boyo.dave_r wrote:It seems I'll be working in Cardiff for the next six months or so (or until they get to know me and I get fired).

Re: Cardiff
RBS is in Usk?
I think Eric Doman is in Wales? And possibly Richard Young as well - although he plays FoGR.

Re: Cardiff
Don't forget Damien Ranasinghe of Donnington fame is also in Usk. RBS often cites himself as playing for the Newport club so I suspect there is a club there.

Dave and RBS as regular playing partners - now that would be worth the ticket price!quackstheking wrote:Don't forget Damien Ranasinghe of Donnington fame is also in Usk. RBS often cites himself as playing for the Newport club so I suspect there is a club there.

Re: Cardiff
I'm not entirely sure whether RBS is playing much AM any more... so the world may miss out on that particular potential ratings winner.

Re: Cardiff
Or dave_r could take up playing FoGR... then you would see that ratings winner of a pairing of someone who is able to pronounce what he deems to be what the rules mean even if that bears no relation to what is written...
with RBS.
with RBS.

Unfortunately, at the weekends I will be back in sunny Manchester, so Oxford is a bit far to travel - but thanks for the offer.davidandlynda wrote:Ian Speed is in Wales somewhere , its also only a couple of hours over to us in Oxford if you fancy coming to one of our monthly all day Sundays
