Moving Commanders in the Joint action Phase

Post by korvus »

My final question from yesterday. If both players want to move commanders in the Joint Action phase, is there a sequence, alternating or otherwise in which this should be done? It seems like it is quite possible for some "oh you moved him there, I guess I'll move my guy there" stuff...

Thanks

Hey Cole,

Page 106 indicates that the active player can go first or decide the order. I like the non active player to go first to reflect initiative.

Although the rules do cover this, I must say that after countless test games it really isn't an issue. There has not been a single game in which I would have wanted to invoke the sequence of movement.

Great stuff, thanks for the ref. We did find it was not a big issue in our game, but I could see it coming up in a more competetive environment.
