Mac patch 2.3 doesn't work

I am installing the game on a new mac running OSX mavericks. I installed an earlier version of the game using the original download that I had once this was installed, I was directed by the game to update and downloaded the 2.3 patch from your site. Once that was installed I get the following error when I try to run the game from the BA icon

"BA" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer

What has gone wrong and how can I fix things so I can get my BA fix

You should be able to tell the OS to let you open the app, even though it doesn't know the developer.

Looking at Google, if you right click (or ctrl+click) the app file and select Open you should get more options allowing you to run without issue.
