patch install order

I find that companies assume that customers have the time or inclination to read thousands of posts and therefore don't need any instructions. I wish there would be a comprehensive set of instructions available and easy to find about the installation order. You have put out so many versions and overlapping games that it is very muddled.

I own Africa Corp, Allied Corp, Panzer Corp, each individual DLC and the combined DLC pack. In other words everything available for this series.

Over the past couple of years I have installed Panzer Corp, Africa Corp and Allied Corp plus the individual DLC's.

I have not installed the Combined DLC pack or the v1.20 or v1.20 patch.

I would like to install the Combined DLC pack and the various patches. I don't even know what individual products I need to play this anymore.

Can you publish some information about how to clear up this mess?

Hello MemoryLeak, there are only two basic 'rules' when installing, the first is that you need one the base games installed before you can install any DLC content. The base games are Panzer Corps (Wehrmacht) or Afrika Korps or Allied Corps. So one of those must be present before you can install any DLC's. The second 'rule' is to apply the newest patch as the last step.

With your game packages, the order of installation could be:

1. Panzer Corps Wehrmacht
2. Afrika Korps
3. DLC Combined pack (it's usually referred to as the 'MegaPack')
4. Allied Corps
5. Patch 1.21

It doesn't matter much in which order you install any expansions, as long as you apply 1.21 last. Installing the newest patch last will normally sort out anything that went wrong when installing previous expansions, as it will overwrite anything with the lastest file versions (that's why it is so big).

Thank you for the info. I finished playing Allied Corp and thought I would go back and do some of the DLC's again but I wanted to do them using the MegaPack instead of individually. So I will install the MegaPack and then the 1.21 patch. Wish me luck because computers suck.
